Back up phone using Super Backup
Recently I was looking for a solution to back up my phone's contact list and call log. As I do not use Google sync or any other such cloud service (that completely takes over my phone), I decided I need a an app for the backup. I found Super Backup which, despite a bit lame name, does everything I needed. The Super Backup app can backup app settings or various other data as well. I got the contacts and the call log uploaded to my Dropbox account. The list of contacts is in the vCard format (.vcf file extension) and the call log is an XML file. Both of them can be viewed and edited with a simple text editor.
